No wond...Well Char, it's nice hearing from you. No wonder you are out of sort, with all that has been happening in your family. Your little cross stitch is delightful.

Making the transition to retirement takes getting use to all by itself.
There are things we can't change and things we can change.
Getting older is one thing we can't change but we can slow down a little.

I'm finding that it takes me longer to do the things that I used to do quickly and I tire more easily. I don't hook as much as I use to simply because I can't seem to find enough time as I have some big projects that need to be address with the house and I'm only focusing on one at a time.

I've successfully gotten rid of all my ceramics molds and paints, glazed and supplies and now that huge project is done with. I was ready to bring them all to the dump, thousands dollars worth of it. Luckily I found one couple who would take them off my hands. Now my basement is finally cleared of ceramic molds and paints, etc. A big load off my mind.

Now I'm clipping the neglected fir hedge and I when I start to get tired I stop and resume at the next opportunity. I clipped it last year and finished on November 28th and it was so tall. I took some pictures of the size of the tops I cut off. They grew taller than my ladder. It grew a lot during the summer again as we got so much rain this past summer.

It's suppose to rain tomorrow so I'll have to wait. At least, I'm ahead of last year by almost a month.

I sure hope that you'll have a good week and that you get a handle on getting one room organized at a time. I like to start by the smallest room. The bathroom, lol....

Hugs,
JBJuliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03423754263165266554noreply@blogger.com
